Denton's One Year Old Pictures

We got Denton's pictures taken on Friday. We got alot of good pictures even though he would not stand in one spot for more then a couple of seconds. I snuck a picture on my cell phone.

We will get the rest back in two weeks, so I will post the rest then.

DENTON'S FIRST BIRTHDAY

Denton's birthday was really fun. He got his first "Happy Meal!" He ate almost all of the hambuger and alot of the french fries, and he really loved his juice box that wasn't watered down.His party was a Cars theme. Grandma Riley got alot of decorations at Zercures that we hung all over. We got pizza from Little Ceasers. He opened up presents from family. He got a Tickle me Elmo from his mom and dad. A crane and clothes from Grandpa and Grandma Riley. A ball popping choo choo train from Grandpa and Grandma Sadler. Uncle James and Aunt Shayla gave him a present that made sure he remembered he is a boy, he got a toy tool set with a drill and hammer. Aunt Jenny(who was late to the party because she chose to watch a movie instead of be on time.) got him a riding toy. Aunt Jackie and Alex got him the coolest action figure toy every a Bat Mobile that you shake and it goes. We got his cake from Harmon's and they gave us a free "smash cake" for him to play in. When we first put the cake in front of Denton, he didn't want to get in it. So I had to help him out alittle bit. What I did was toke his hand and smoshed it into the cake. He really didn't like that. It took awhile for him to get used to being dirty. I gave him a bath right away for him to be happy.



After his bath Aunt Jenny thought was funny to put a party hat on his bum, which made him look like a Dinosaur.

FINALLY

My little buddy with is favoite toy. He likes to drag it around Grandpa and Grandma Riley's house.

Here is my excuse for not updating my blog, I didn't have the internet on my big computer anymore so I have to use the laptop. It takes longer and is hard on my neck.

The NEW Apartment

This is the front of the new apartment. In the apartment complex there are a total of six buildings that look like this. They each have four apartments in them. They have apartments with two bedrooms, one bath (this is the one we have); two bedrooms, two bath; and finally three bedrooms, two baths.

Large Dragonfly Clock

I have always liked the large clocks that are always outrageously expensive, so when my friend Chelsea said that she made one it made me think that I could do it too. SO I got a round board at Lowe's and then painted it the way I wanted it. I also put the SADLER name on it and EST. 2004 for the year that we were married. I then ordered the hands and now am just debating on whether or not I want to put numbers on it.

5 Months Old

Denton is 5 months old can you believe it. The time has flown by so fast. Denton is now teething but the teeth have not broken the skin yet. Denton seems to like the new apartment because we finally put him in his very own room. Although, I am not sure I like the two different rooms because now I have to get out of bed in the middle of the night to either put his binkie in his mouth or take him to mommy and daddies bed. We started him on solid foods and he loves Sweet Potatoes. The other food that he has tried is Pears. Surprisingly he doesn't like them as much. Which is weird because we have always put pear juice in his bottle. Next we are going to try Peas.
